No surprise moments ago veteran Steve Stricker has been named the captain of the 2020 US Ryder Cup team to be staged at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin 19 months from now.
Good guy Striker has been part of their Ryder Cup program as a player and a vice and as a Wisconsin native he was the logical choice.
He has named Jim Furyk is first Vice Captain. Furyk of course was the captain of the team that was thrashed in Paris last year.
