Monday finish for AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am

Play will resume under sunny skies believe  it or not at Pebble Beach GL.. That's the good news.. the bad news is they have run out of time to get round 4 completed. Here's why

Play will begin at 1pm PST with the leaders, Paul Casey and Phil Mickelson set to tee off shortly thereafter. Darkness falls at 5.48pm. That leaves say 4.5 hours to get play finished, virtually impossible considering a) the course is saturated, b) each group has amateurs playing with them c) average time for a PGA Tour round is in excess of 5 hours d) Pebble Beach GL is a very difficult championship course thus takes longer.

Jim Nantz and Nick Faldo who are killing time on air until play begins, admitted they have virtually no chance of completing play today, and that's the last thing they want to tell their viewing audience.

There is no rain in the forecast for tomorrow...

So there you have it.... Monday finish for this year's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro AM
