I posted the weather forecast in my last missive, citing rain showers this morning and so far that's spot on, except for the hail !
After an hours delay to begin this championship Sunday, play began under ever changing skies, and at 14.04 EST, 11.04 on the west coast a full hail storm blew through, and with a second rain cell about to hit, the officials have suspended play and taken the players off the course.
Presently they are in a holding pattern until the next cell blows through, then if all goes according to plan they will recover the course where necessary and resume play.
Paul Casey and Phil Mickelson have not began they're final round yet.
