Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas are symptomatic of today's young pros. Best buddies, fabulously wealthy in their 20's, go on holidays together, sharing a house with each other and all the while sharing the final pairing together.
Fowler birdied his last 4 holes including a crowd pleaser within the leather at the par 3 16th amphitheater, for a -6 65 -13 total while his housemate Thomas posted a 66 of his own -12 total.
Branden Grace went lower -7 64 and he's at -11 with Trey Mullinix Matt Kuchar and Cameron Smith all at -10 .
Bubba Watson called his friend Bryson DeChambeau for advise on his arm lock putting style and has incorporated it this week to good effect at -9.
David Hearn continues his good form with a 68 T11 at -7 while Adam Hadwin made the cut with 67 and he is at -3.
