Eight Canadians at rainy Pebble Beach this week. Pro, celebrity tee times

PGA Tour AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am  pro/celebrity tee times https://www.pgatour.com/tournaments/at-t-pebble-beach-pro-am/tee-times.html

There are eight Canadians at this week's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Corey Connors, Adam Hadwin, David Hearn, MacKenzie Hughes, Ben Silverman, Roger Sloan, Adam Svensson and Nick Taylor will all play on the iconic links.

Incidently, here is a link to the weather forecast for Carmel, California https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/USCA0183:1:US and as often happens there at this time of year, it's going to be a rainy, cool weekend, particularly Friday and Sunday.

As always they play Pebble Beach GL, Spyglass Hill and Monterey Peninsula, and each player has a celebrity partner, more and more often it's a corporate big shot, although Bill Murray will play as usual with D.A Points while Wayne Gretzky will play with pre tournament favourite Dustin Johnson, fresh off his win in Saudi Arabia.

Some pros are pro-am specialists, guys like Mark O'Meara enjoyed the camaraderie winning this event a record 5 times, while others not so much. I remember playing in the Canadian PGA Pro-Am one year, late on a cold, windy Wednesday afternoon and ahead of us Dave Barr played hole after hole about as far away from his group of hackers and whackers as he possibly could without being rude!

So get ready for your annual views of the gorgeous scenery from Carmel Bay with the cute sea otters and the players resting on the fence at the 18th tee, along with one of America's most expensive 8 mile sections of coastline.

It all starts tomorrow.
