Nelly Korda has joined her sister Jessica in the winners circle at the ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open with rounds of 71 66 67 67 -17, two shots clear of the field.
Defending champion Jin Young Ko was second after a 64. Jessica won this title seven years ago, her father won the Aussie Men's tennis title, her younger brother the junior title.
“I’m just happy to finally be a part of the club,” said the 20-year-old Korda at the trophy presentations. “There’s maybe something in the air here. We love coming down under and we really enjoy our time here"
Meanwhile Alena Sharp rounded off a strong week with a closing -4 68 to finish T6 at -10. It is her second straight good result after she finished T17 the Vic Open last week. Her fellow Canadian Jaclyn Lee also shot 68 to finish T22 -6 in her LPGA debut.
They are both taking the long flight home, so will not be joining Brooke Henderson who is returning from illness to play in Thailand next week. They will play at the Founders Cup in a few weeks time.
