Coming off a strong week in Dubai, Lee Westwood is back to the sight of his 7 shot win last year and has opened up with a -6 66 to take the lead along with new daddy Graeme McDowell, both out in the early flight.
Others in contention, Tommy Fleetwood -5 67, Paul McGinley -3 69 coming back after knee surgery along with Canadian Richard T Lee and Australia's Andrew Dodt. They are all T10.
Lee was born in Toronto, now lives in Arizona, and has been playing on the Asian Tour since 2013, where he has his lone professional win, the Solaire Open last year.
Play is now over in round one, where they are 13 hours ahead of EST. There are 156 players in the field from 24 different countries.
