Play suspended again at Honda Classic.. resume at 1230pm

PGA Tour Honda Classic scoreboard http://espn.go.com/golf/leaderboard?tour=pga

As I reported earlier this morning there is an 80% chance of rain today and 90% tomorrow.

Well it's 100% now as the rain is just hammering down on PGA National at Palm Beach Gardens. Play started at 645am to try and get a jump on the weather. The horn blew at 823am

Officials say they hope to resume play at 1030am, but it's going to be a long haul for all concerned over the next 3 days..

****update  Play resumed at 1030am but was halted again at 1055, more rain and lightning in the area and they now hope to resume at 1230 EST, so they have already lost 4 hours. There is no way round 2 will be completed today, in fact the leaders will attempt to play most of their round 2 on Saturday which has a worse forecast than today.

Because they started so early most of the 1st wave was on course but nobody has played more than 8 holes.

Rory McIlroy teed off at 7:45 a.m. but had completed only two holes,  a bogey on No. 10 and a par on No. 11. Then he made par on No. 12 after the first resumption of play, so he is at +4.

Over all these years I have spent in rain delays, or weather delays as they are called now, I've seen guys do all  kinds of things to pass time, smoke, drink, play poker, TV, the trailer gym, phone home or whoever, Richard Zokol had the best one when he'd find a quiet spot to fall asleep...Now the guys are all into their headphones, video games and agents..
