PGA Tour Honda Classic scoreboard http://espn.go.com/golf/leaderboard?tour=pga
I was just reading Mike Weir's blog circulated by his brother Jim this morning on Twitter and in it he explained that he wasn't ready for the west coast swing and why he had to WD from Pebble Beach after shooting 44 on his back nine without even a par on the card. He said he felt 'tightness in my elbow that although I was gripping the club lightly I felt like I was choking it"
He said he had it x-rayed and there was no sign of damage to the ligaments he had the operation on, got some massage and acupuncture and felt well enough to enter the Honda this morning..
While he started with a birdie at the second he followed with 2 doubles and 2 bogey's to go out in 40, took a bogey 5 at the 10th then had to pack it in..
He did say he has been hitting the ball a treat on the range but can't bring that game to the course so far, but feels he is close. He has a new Taylor Made driver which he loves..
Adam Hadwin +2 72, Graham DeLaet and David Hearn are also in the field..
Right now Rory Sabbatini and Jim Herman lead at -3, Mickelson is E thru 14 and Rory is off at 1245 EST on a windy day that will make scoring difficult today..
