PGA Tour Players Championship leaderboard https://www.pgatour.com/competition/2019/the-players-championship/leaderboard.html
Breaking News: Tommy Fleetwood has begun his 2nd round, birdie, eagle, birdie to take the outright lead at -11.
The players who make the cut this weekend will face a completely different course than they have yesterday and today, where it's been hot (86*f) and partly sunny with a light breeze SSW, which got a little fresher in the afternoon.
A new front moves in overnight, bringing some cooler days, rain showers and the wind flipping from SSW to NNE. Sunday's high is only 61*f with rain

With that in mind I expect the leading score by dinner time tonight after 36 holes, may well be the winning score come Sunday night.
Keep in mind the early wave are all finished and the best of them is veteran Jim Furyk to lives locally, knows this course better than anyone, and used that knowledge to his advantage for -8 64 -9 to hold the clubhouse lead.
So Tommy has a golden chance after his start today, to really separate himself from the rest, heading into the weekend. Also what he posts will affect the cut line which is currently predicted at -2. Tiger for example is at -3.
Canadians: Nick Taylor 73,69 -2 total, Corey Connors (72 E) and Adam Hadwin (+4 76) are in this late wave.
More to follow..
