Keith Mitchell wins Honda Classic, Canadian scores, final scoreboard

PGA Tour Honda Classic final scoreboard https://www.pga.com/news/golf-leaderboard/pga-tour-leaderboard

There were only 3 of the tour's top 20 at the Honda Classic, which probably is a reflection of this year's condensed spring schedule, none the less there was a terrific finish which included 3 of the games marquee names, none of whom won.

Rookie Keith Mitchell holed a bending down hill left to right 15 footer for a birdie 4 at the last to shoot -3 67 and his -9 total was just good enough to edge Brooks Koepka (66) and Rickie Fowler (67) both at -8 for his first PGA Tour victory and a spot in the Masters.

He had to wait and watch as Vijay Singh was turning back the clock, until he drove into the water at the 17th resulting in a bogey and ending his bid to become the oldest winner of an official PGA Tour event at 56. He finished with 70 -6 total good for 6th place.

Canadian scores:
Roger Sloan T30 71 71 66 72 E, Nick Taylor T30 72 66 70 72 E, Ben Silverman T36 66 71 75 69 +1, Adam Svensson T59 72 64 72 75.

This week it's up to Bay Hill for the Arnie Palmer Invitational where Rory defends, with Tiger, and an all star cast, many coming in tribute for the late King..
