Canada’s Brooke Henderson (69) is T15th at -12 when the final round of this Bank of Hope Founders Cup gets under way this morning in Phoenix, Arizona.
She fired another 6 birdies, this time with 3 bogey's. She hit 9/14 fairways, her worst of the week, and 13/18 greens in regulation with 28 putts, She was also 1/1 in sand saves. Brooke has made 18 birdies in her 54 holes so far.
The leader is a rather shy young Chinese woman, Yu Liu who was nervous in her final-group pairing Saturday, outplaying top-ranked Sung Hyun Park with a -7 65 -19 197, and she'll be in the final group again today with Spaniard Carlota Ciganda who shot -9 63, 2nd -18.
“I’m not very comfortable and not very used to playing in the last group,” said Liu, the 23-year-old in her second year on the tour, “I’ve had two experiences before and I didn’t do very well"
Hyo Joo Kim (64), Jin Young Ko (64), Women’s Australian Open champion Nelly Korda (66) and Lydia Ko (67) are at -15.
