Brooke Henderson finishes T8 at Bank of Hope Founders Cup

LPGA Tour Bank of Hope Founders Cup final leaderboard http://www.lpga.com/tournaments/bank-of-hope-founders-cup/results

Continuing her fine play with 4 rounds in the 60's last week at the Bank of Hope Founders Cup including a closing (67 68 69), -6 66 -18 totalBrooke Henderson has posted her 3rd top 10 in 4 outings this time T8.

She finished her week with a 6 birdie, bogey free nines of 33. She drove very well 12/14 fairways and used a week low 26 putts. 13/18 greens in regulation and 1/1 in sand saves.

A 23 year old South Korean, Jin Young Ko closed with bogey-free rounds of 64 and 65 at Desert Ridge to rally for a one-stroke victory Sunday. She birdied Nos. 14-16 and parred the final two to finish at -22, 266, then won when third-round leader Yu Liu missed a 15-foot par putt on the par-4 18th.

Liu shot a 70 to T2 with playing partner Carlota Ciganda and sisters Jessica and Nelly Korda. Ciganda closed with a 69, Jessica Korda eagled the two back-nine par 5s in a 64, and Nelly Korda shot 66, all finished a shot back at -21.

The Korda sisters are quickly becoming a big story, particularly in American women's golf. Jessica the eldest is just back from an arm injury, Nelly has been in the top 10 eight times this year. Tall for women at 6', from an athletic family they are easy on the eye and extremely talented, and single.

Speaking of tall, Michelle Wie has announced her engagement to Jerry West's son Jonnie.

She will be in the field for this week's Kia Classic in Carlsbad, California.
