HSBC Women's World Championship final scoreboard http://www.lpga.com/tournaments/hsbc-womens-world-championship/results
South Korean star Sung Hyun Park shot the lowest round of the day, a nine birdie -8 64 -15 to win this HSBC Women's World Championship going away, 2 shots clear of Minjee Lee (68 71 67 69 -13) who was runner up for the 2nd week in a row. It is Park's 6th LPGA title. She began the day 4 shots behind leader Ariya Jutanugarn who slipped to a disappointing +3 75.
Park gave credit to Tiger Woods who she met in February on set at a TaylorMade brand shoot. “If Tiger is watching this interview, then I would want to say that because we met, you gave me such a good energy, that made me win this tournament.”
Brooke Henderson shot 75 71 67 72 -3 T15 which wasn't a bad result considering her opening round. It's fair to say Brooke didn't have her A game this week, taking into consideration the Sentosa GC was very fast, hard, bouncy and the greens slick and tricky. Her two weeks in Asia, T6, T15.
Her numbers for the week : Fairways hit 36/56, Driving distance 277yds, Putts per round 29 (32 today compared to 26 on Saturday) Greens in regulation 50/72, Sand saves 2/2.
The tour leaves Asia to return to USA for the Bank of Hope Founders Cup in Pheonix in 3 weeks.
