Tiger and Justin Rose lead...Saturday Tee Times/ leaderboard PGA Tour Championship

Tiger Woods T6th 2 weeks ago at the BMW Championship, Justin Rose lost it in a playoff. They will be the last group out today at this TOUR Championship. Tiger 65 68, Rose 66 67, both -7.

However on this East Lake GC that requires absolute precision to have any chance of scoring with it's penal Bermuda rough and fast, firm conditions, the star studded leaderboard is stacked up behind them with 36 holes to play in the 2018 season.

I like Tiger's demeanour these days, you never really appreciate your health until you lose it and he really has it in perspective coming off his 4th back surgery, unsure if he'd ever pay at all again. He knows how well he's playing but isn't ready to talk about winning this week... yet... “We have a long way to go. This is not an easy golf course"

He actually had a 2 shot lead on the 16th tee on Friday, but a bad drive and a plugged lie led to a double bogey 6. An easy birdie on 18 got him into the tie with Justin.

Rose the new world #1 is the No. 2 seed in the FedEx Cup and as the weekend begins, is in the best spot to bank the $10m bonus.  Bryson DeChambeau who has won the last 2 playoff events and is the No. 1 seed, is 13 shots behind after a Friday 75.

Rory McIlroy shot 68 and with all the Tiger hullabaloo is quietly 2 shots back at -5. Jon Rahm (68) is at -4 along with Billy Horschel (65) and Patrick Cantlay (65), and Justin Thomas, the defending champion, who managed a scrambling 69.

The weather is typical Atlanta, hot and sticky, so nothing to worry about there. Still, as always it's moving day, and with the leaderboard so tight, a bad swing here, a big break there can make all the difference, so as it should be, the last 36 holes of the year will be very interesting.
