Steady rain wiping out 4th round at BMW Championship

PGA Tour BMW Championship leaderboard https://www.pgatour.com/leaderboard.html

With Justin Rose (64 -17) leading Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele by a shot the final round of this BMW Championship is in peril as expected as a steady rain is falling in Philadelphia and is expected to intensify as the day goes on.

The Aronimink GC is soaked and after a wet summer the water tables are saturated making drainage difficult.

The PGA tour has moved tee times back to noon as a first step.

The rain is still in Monday's forecast as are T'storms.

Adam Hadwin got in on the low scoring yesterday posting a -7 63 -9 total T26, however with everyone else benefitting from this soft course he only moved up 3 spots in the Fed Ex standings, and is currently projected to finish 44th. So he will need a really low score whenever they play to crack the top 30 that move on to the Tour Championship in Atlanta on September 20th.

With no event next week so it looks like players will be hanging on to their accommodations until as late as Tuesday.
