Marchand takes over from Henderson at the Cambia Portland Classic

LPGA Tour Cambia Portland Classic leaderboard http://www.lpga.com/tournaments/cambia-portland-classic/leaderboard

Usually Brooke Henderson leads the Canadian contingent on this LPGA Tour , however after last week's sensational win of the CP Women's Open and an opening 64 at this week's Cambia Portland Classic, she has slipped out of contention with rounds of 71,74 -7 total, but still good for T6.

It is Brittany Marchand with rounds of 69 67 70 -10, T4 at -10 who leads the group and this couldn't be more timely as she has missed her last 3 cuts. She’s eight shots off the runaway leader Georgia Hall 66 63 69 -18 however being back in the top group will change that trend.

“I’ve been hitting the ball well all week and just kind of kept that going this morning and had some putts drop, which was nice. I felt pretty relaxed and the back nine. I felt pretty similar, just a few more errant shots on the back that I kind of had to make saves for pars and didn’t give myself as many birdie opportunities"

Anne-Catherine Tanguay, shot a bogey free 67, -6 total and is T12.

Aussie Minjee Lee 64 68 68 -16 will be in the final pairing at 2.05 PST, and this year's title seems to be between her and Hall.
