The Saturday foursome matches have been announced and are listed below. I can tell you Europe has sent out exactly the same team that beat the USA 4-0 Friday afternoon, while Jim Furyk has sat out of form Phil Mickelson and Patrick Reed down.
I expect a big fight back from the USA this afternoon, they are better than this, and I'm sure their pride has been stung. Spieth and Thomas gave them a spark late this morning, beating an exuberant Ian Poulter and Jon Rahm on the 17th green.
I must also say I just turn down the sound for the all American broadcast teams. Tom Abbott is the only Brit giving any sense of balance. Terry Gannon anchors the morning crew with Justin Leonard doing the colour and Gannon may do himself harm if his USA team doesn't improve.
Worse still is Johnny Miller, Peter Jacobsen and Gary Koch in the afternoon. It is all from an American perspective. Surely any member of the European Tour broadcasting team, Dougie Donnelly, Ken Brown, Mark James or Sam Torrance would have provided some much needed balance.
