Europe wins the Ryder Cup !

Ryder Cup final scoreboard https://www.rydercup.com/scoring

With a concession from Phil Mickelson on the 16th tee after he pulled his tee shot into the water, Francesco Molinari clinched the winning14 1/2 point for Europe, and put a capper on what has been the season of his life.

The score is 17 1/2 - 10 1/2.

He becomes the first European to go a perfect 5-0, only 3 others before him have, and it adds to his Player of the Year resume which includes the Open Championship..

Thomas Bjorn's 4 picks were magnificent with Ian Poulter at his all time chest pumping best, rallying 50,000 fans at Le National every day, along with millions more around the world. Sergio Garcia has become the all time points leader in the Ryder Cup with 25 1/2. Henrik Stenson got 3 points and Paul Casey was exceptional.

Meanwhile the 4 USA captains picks, Woods, DeChambeau, Finau and Mickelson went a dismal 2-10-0

It is Europe's 9th win in the last 12, and it continues to add to the credibility of their tour and while the focus over here will be on how Team USA failed, Tiger and Phil didn't win a match going 0-6, remember they were well and truly beaten by this European team.
