North Dakota's Amy Olson (74) took at heart breaking double bogey 6 on her 72nd hole to blow what was a 2 shot lead on the 16th, allowing veteran Texan, 40 year old Angela Stanford (68) to win this years final major, the Evian Championship by a shot for her first major in 18 years on tour, and her first win in 6 years. Stanford has played in 80 majors and after she opened with 72, she shot 64,68 68 -12 total for a very emotional win.
Brooke Henderson fired 4 birdies with 1 bogey and 13 pars -3 68 to finish her week in France T10 at -8. She hit 15/18 greens in regulation today, used 29 putts and was a solid 2/2 in sand saves, so she scrambled well on this hilly course on the mountain side above Lake Geneva.
Alena Sharp (71) finished at E T37 and Brittany Marchand (68) T49th +3
