PGA Tour Champions : Chubb Classic Tee Times
The seniors have gathered in Naples, Florida for the annual Chubb Classic on the famous Tiberon Golf Clubs Black Course where it will be hot (80*f) and sunny all week with just enough breeze to keep them honest.
This is why Naples has such a large contingent of Canadian snowbirds escaping frigid weather we are experiencing.
Bernhard Langer has won an incredible 5 times, he is back after missing last year with his achilles tendon injury.
Stephen Ames is the defending champion after he set the 54 hole all time record last year at 131. There is a full field of 78 players with no cut, all the usual greats like Ernie Els, Freddie Couples and Darren Clarke.
The last event was in Morocco at the Trophy Hassan II where evergreen Miguel Angel Jimenez drove the final green and made eagle to edge Steve Alker for his 14th career Champions Tour win.
Mike Weir is not in the field this week.
