DP World Tour : Magic Kenya Open Tee Times
After a week off the DP World Tour rank and file have flown into the capital of Kenya at altitude in Nairobi which at 1,795 meters, (5889 feet) is significantly higher than the Omega Open in the Swiss Alps at Crans Sur Sierre at 1,495.
When Kenya was part of the British Empire they colonized Nairobi in 1899. It gained Independence in 1963.
Canada's Aaron Cockerill has made his last two cuts and will be hoping to find the form that saw him T2 here in 2022 with a -12 total (70 68 68 67) worth approximately $194,000 cdn, losing to Chinese veteran Ashun Wu.
Dutchman Darius van Driel is the defending champion who bagged his first DP World Tour title last year.
It's the 6th year since becoming a DP World Tour event in 2019 at the Muthaiga GC which has been hosting Safari and Challenge tour events for 56 years.
Spaniard veteran Jorge Campillo won here in 2023 and is the bookies favourite this week.
