Dominant Detry laps the WM Open field for first PGA Tour win....Final results

PGA Tour : WM Open  Results

To put Thomas Detry's 66 64 65 65 -24 dominant win of this version of the WM Open in perspective, he beat the world #1 Scottie Scheffler by 15 shots.

The closest, try as they might that anyone got to him was a converted touchdown away at -17 in Michael Kim and Daniel Berger.

They say a picture is worth a 1000 words..To see the absolute joy on the face of daughter Sophie as she ran across the green into his arms followed by newly walking Alba with her little arms upraised was what its all about. Just priceless.

They have a flat in London  which they use when he plays in the UK, they like many other DP World Tour members had lived in Dubai for two years. Now that he is exempt on the PGA Tour for at least two years they are still looking for a home base on this side of the Atlantic. The $1,656,000 will help with his first months rent !!

He will be full of confidence heading back to Torrey Pines this week for the $20,000,000 Genesis. However this week will be tough to duplicate, he was absolutely stunning, in fact he beat up the field as badly as the Eagles beat up the Chiefs in the Super Bowl that followed.
