Belgian star Detry big Sunday lead WM Phoenix...live scoreboard

Thomas Detry has played 161 events on the DP World Tour without a win and has amassed over $7,000,000 in prize money. He has had 5 runners up, won the 2018 World Cup of golf with compatriot Thomas Pieters and is a 2 time Olympian.

Now having qualified for the PGA Tour he continues to look for his first win here and today he has that win in his own hands with a 5 shot lead, and ideal playing conditions at the WM Phoenix Open.

Rounds of 66 64 65 -18 he is head and shoulders the best player this week.

His closest challenge all at -13 are his DP World Tour pal from Denmark, Rasmus Hojgaard and Americans Daniel Berger, Michael Kim and Jordan Spieth.

Tournament winners for the last two years Nick Taylor defending is well back T29 -7, Scottie Scheffler T10 -10.

Canadians had a mixed bag of results.

It's Super Bowl Sunday so the field is paired in 3's off split tees #1 and #10  to get finished in time for everyone to get home to watch the game from the Super Dome in New Orleans at 6.30pm est.
