At the turn on Sunday, Cory Connors was tied for the lead the Sanderson Farms Championship, having caught Cameron Champ, who had a four shot lead but played the front nine in +1.
However the 23 year old American, playing in only his 9th PGA Tour start, birdied five of his last six holes finishing with a -4 68 -21 to regain the lead for his 1st win.
Connors also shot -4 68 to finish 2nd at 217 and that is his best finish on the PGA Tour. His best finish in life came just a week ago when he got married !
Nick Taylor finished with a 69 T26th -8. Ben Silverman shot 71 T39 and Adam Svensson also T39 after his 68.
