Gary Woodland posted -11 61, while Aussie veteran Marc Leishman shot -10 62 to lead this CIMB Classic after 2 rounds on the revamped TPC Kuala Lumpur West course. They are at -14. Woodland has been T2 at this event in 2013/14.
Justin Thomas who won here in 2015/16, held the course record at 61. Paul Casey joined the birdie fest with -7 65 and he is T3 -13 along with Indian Shubhankar Sharma (64). Thomas shot 69 and at -9 is just 5 off the lead and will be the guy I'm watching for this weekend.
The course, a par 72 is playing to an average of just over 69, so the field is taking it apart and I'd think something around -22 will be required to win.
