Both the LPGA and PGA Tours are off to Asia. The women begin a 5 tournament swing with the Hana Bank event this weekend in South Korea where Brooke Henderson will return to action.
The men are in Malaysia at the CIMB Classic in steamy Kuala Lumpur then off to the CJ Cup @ Nine Bridges in South Korea
These tournaments are all reflective off the spread of the game worldwide. The LPGA Tour of course is dominated by South Koreans and other nationalities in particular the USA and Canada have embraced the opportunity to travel and support this growth.
The men have been slower to respond but that is changing. Justin Thomas has won the CIMB. Patrick Reed is joined by Tony Finau, Matt Kuchar and other Americans who realize the game deserves their support abroad and hey, it's a chance to see the world albeit from some pretty cushy, plush locations.
I will post the live scoreboards when they are announced later tonight..Remember Asia in general is about 13 hours ahead. .
