Considering the terrible weather forecast for the week in Sotogrande, Spain they have survived several delays and a predicted 6 hours of steady rain on Saturday to get in 2 rounds however this morning (EST) under dark ominous skies and crackling lightning officials have suspended play in the 3rd and final round (54 holes), at this Andalucia Valderrama Masters, clearing the course with the leader Sergio Garcia at -10 through seven holes.
Lee Westwood was -4 through 8 holes to sit 2nd at -7.
BREAKING NEWS...Play has been suspended for the day. Round 3 will resume at 9.10am local time on Monday. The tournament was reduced to 54 holes on Saturday.
As I mentioned yesterday a lot of the guys have their playing priveleges for next season hanging in the balance based on their finish here. The top 116 are in.
