Zach Johnson won 12 times , including the 2007 Masters and surprising us all at the 2015 Open Championship at St Andrews in his 21 year PGA Tour career, and after representing his country 9 times in President and Ryder Cups, was honoured with the captaincy in Rome 2023.

He played in 69 straight majors until he caught COVID in 2021.
Yet this fiery Iowan isn't named up there with the glamour boys on the PGA Tour, needless to say a guy called Tiger was around, however he is making up for that after turning 50 in February, with his 4th win on this PGA Tour Champions.
With a bogey free -7 63 -19, he beat Stewart Cink 2nd -17 and Paddy Harrington 3rd -15 for his 3rd win in the last 4 events, this one at the inaugural Portugal Invitational hosted by Ernie Els.
Along with Cink he is the only 4 time winner this year, and like Paddy is the first to win 4 as a rookie since 2022.
He remains 2nd to Cink in the Charles Schwab Cup standings.
