PGA Tour: FedEx St Jude Championship Field
Rory Mcllroy hasn't played since the Open Championship, but the Grand Slam Champion returns Stateside to Memphis, Tenn., for the 1st event in the PGA Tour playoffs, the $20,000,000 St Jude Championship, on TPC Southwind.
He will be joined by his victorious Ryder Cup team mates, defending champion Justin Rose, recovering from a neck injury, and the defending Fed Ex Cup Champion Tommy Fleetwood.
Rory will be looking for a record 4th Fed Ex Cup Championship, to go with his 7 DP World Tour Champion titles, which he will attempt to make eight in Dubai.
While the DP World Tour members don't conclude their season until mid November, the PGA Tour officially wraps their 2026 season at the Tour Championship August 27-30 to avoid TV conflict with the almighty NFL.
However there is a PGA Tour Fall Series 6 event schedule where players outside the top 100 have a chance to improve their Fed Ex points status to avoid going to Q School.
Scott Scheffler who rarely travels outside the USA will be in this top 70 man field, which will be reduced to top 50 on Sunday night.
There are 3 Canadians in the field, Corey Conners, Sudarshan Yellamaraju and Nick Taylor.
