Scott Scheffler scrambled to -2 68 on Moving day to take a two shot lead at 68 61 68 -13 into the weekend as he tries to prevent another runner up finish, since he last won in February at the American Express.
What I believe will make it easier than the lead, is playing with one of his buddies Sam Burns T2 67 70 62 -11. It should be like playing $100 Nassau at home for the pair who are bonded by their Christian beliefs.
Sungae Im 66 66 67 -11 is not to be forgotten, he has been solid for most of this season and is on the bubble at #53 as added incentive.
We'll see who makes the most putts on this TPC Southwind course where the heat in Memphis has been brutal all week.
The rest of the pack begins at -8 and remember the bigger story today in who makes the top 50 to advance to next week in St Louis.
