Michael Brennan hits the jackpot, 3 Canadians advance.. Wyndham Championship Final results

Michael Brennan,  moved into T1 having been near the lead all week 66 65 63 -16 on Saturday.

On Sunday he hit the jackpot with 64 -22 to win the Wyndham Championship by 3 shots, and makes the Fed Ex Cup layoffs at #47.

He had come into the playoffs #105 with only one T10 all year. He ran off 5 straight birdies from #4 to take the lead he never relinquished. 

Beau Hossler finished 2nd -19  61 67 66 67, #72.  He misses the playoffs and remains without a win on Tour.

Ben James was 3rd -18  62 67 72 61  #108 he will miss the playoffs.

Young Auburn college standout Jackson Koivun  who beat Scott Scheffler to win the 3M Open squeaked into the playoffs in the #70 spot.

Summary 

Nick Taylor (63) Corey Conners (59) and Sudarshan Yellamaraju (57) will be the only Canadians advancing to the Fed Ex Cup playoffs.

Taylor Pendrith's card for 2027 at #89 looks secure for the top 100, with the Fall Series still to come after the playoffs.

AJ Ewart at #105 would have conditional status for top 120, but will attend Fall Series to try to advance back into top 100.

Mac Hughes at #118 would have conditional status for top 120 but will play Fall Series to try to advance into top 100.

Adam Svensson #178, Ben Silverman #139, Adam Hadwin #189 are all facing Fall Series, Q School and a season on the Korn Ferry Tour.
