Mac Hughes is right in contention T2 with a Sunday round to go at this Valspar Championship.

He may well be in the lead after holing a 4 footer on the 16th, however Keith Mitchell who made the cut at the Players but ended up dead last over the weekend, holed a 7 iron from the fairway on the 18th, while Hughes drive went wide right resulting in bogey, leaving Mitchell with a 2 shot lead at -10.
Hughes 68 68 6 -8 is tied with Peter Malnati 66 71 68 -8 and they are the penultimate pairing at 140pm while Seamus Power 68 69 68 -8 is in the final pair with Mitchell at 150pm.

While Mitchell leads by 2, there are 12 players bunched between -8 and -6 and with another SW wind, blustery day ahead they all have a shot at winning and getting into the Masters if they are not already qualified.
Lets see if one of the Canucks can join Adam Hadwin who already won here in 2017 in the winners circle..
