When the women got into their planes to leave China and end their Asian swing it was two Americans 27 year old Baily Tardy the deserving winner with a stirring 65 to close 4 shots clear at -19 for her first win and $330,000.
Next came 29 year old Sarah Schmelzel 2nd 69 -15 worth $208,128, her best finish since turning pro in 2019.
My stories of the week came at T4. Canadian Savannah Grewal whose career I chronicled in yesterday's post has $95,907 US in her bank account with 69 74 64 68 -13 in just her 2nd fully exempt LPGA start.
Minjee Lee, and Lydia Ko joined her T4 on -13, such heady company, with the great Kiwi finishing with a 66 71 weekend and will have to wait for another day to be inducted into the LPGA Hall of Fame.

The tour returns to US for the Seri Pak Championship March 21-24 at the Palos Verdes GC in California the start of 5 weeks in the western states including Arizona, Nevada and Texas for their first major The Chevron at the The Woodlands April 18- 21.
