These were my closing words in my Sunday morning post and although the timing of the bad weather was pushed back to 3pm, it has dictated a Monday finish.
The 3 1/2 hour delay around Palm Springs, (while the Jays played all afternoon vs BoSox up in Fort Myers) means the leaders Skinns and Lowry did not tee off until 5.10 with sunset at 623pm EST.
They will likely get in 4 holes and on Monday when winds are light and chances of rain are slight they will decide the winner before heading up the east coast to Arnie's place at Bay Hill
Eric van Rooyan from RSA and the DP World Tour maybe the most affected after, in the calm before the storm, he and others took the Champion course at TPC National apart. He made 6 straight birdies out in 28, eight in 11 holes -14 for the lead.
He has finished with the clubhouse lead 66 71 70 63 -14 with it all to play for Monday morning..
