Two Canadians join Tiger etal at Arnold Palmer Invitational

PGA Tour Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill tee times https://www.pgatour.com/leaderboard.html

Tiger has been saying it for a while now, how much he misses competing every time he tees it up, that excitement just can't be replaced hitting balls and playing friendlies at his mansion in Jupiter.

Well he's certainly re charging the batteries quickly after his T2 at the Valspar Championship last week in front of record pumped up galleries and of course a world wide audience on TV, then the announcement yesterday of his selection to captain the USA Presidents Cup squad in 2019, and now at Arnie's Invitational this week where he has won on the Bay Hill course 8 times.

He's off the 10th at 8.23 with Jason Day and Hideki Matsuyama. Defending champion Marc Leishman, Rory McIlroy and Rickie Fowler are the featured afternoon pairing at 1.08pm.

There isn't a seat left in the press tent, in fact they could have added another, and all eyes will be on his every step, I'm sure the Golf Channel would have a camera watching him sleep all night if they could.

There are 2 Canadians in the field, Mac Hughes (8.23) and Nick Taylor (7.35am) and there would be more but Arnie was not shy about letting players he invited but didn't show up know about it, so the player attendance at this one, and Jack's Memorial is always high.

I note there is no Jordan Spieth or Justin Thomas..
