Great Masters anticipation as Rory was the story at Arnold Palmer Invitational

Well what great anticipation there is for the Masters which is exactly 18 days away.

Justin Thomas has a win and a loss in a playoff to Phil at the WGC Mexico, Tiger is back with a T2, T5 this weekend, and is the bookies favourite at 8/1 for a 5th title at Augusta, now Rory was the story on Sunday with a scintillating -8 64, 3 shot victory at Arnold Palmer Invitational, which included 5 birdies in his last 6 holes, capped off by a dramatic Tiger like curling 30 footer down the green at the 72nd, followed by the fist pumping celebration.

Those are the biggest names in the game today folks, and they are all in great form just at the right time. The supporting cast is not bad either. Justin Rose was 3rd, Henrik Stenson 4th, Ryan Moore T5, Patrick Reed T7. Then there is always world #1 Dustin Johnson, #3 Jon Rahm, #4 Jordan Spieth, #9 Brooks Keopka #10 defending champion Sergio Garcia, all of whom are playing well and most all of whom have either won or played well at Augusta.

Don't forget the course specialists, like two time winner Bubba Watson, Louis Oosthuizen and Angel Cabrera to name a few.

There are two Canadians in the field so far, Mike Weir and Adam Hadwin.

With Tiger and Phil playing as well as they have in years, the ratings will be right through the roof with many casual fans jumping on board to see how they do.

It's bound to be quite a week and I'll have it all right here.

Oh by the way, did I mention in my last post to watch out for Rory on Sunday ? Hate to say "I told you so".... but I will anyways...!!
