Henderson roars back into contention at HSBC Women's World Championship

LPGA HSBC Women's World Championship leaderbaord http://www.lpga.com/tournaments/hsbc-womens-world-championship/leaderboard

Buoyed by a 23 putt performance Brooke Henderson has fired a superb bogey free, 7 birdie round of 65 to roar right back into contention after 3 rounds of the HSBC Women's World Championship in Singapore.

Going into Sunday's final round she is T3 with Minjee Lee at -11, 4 shots behind red hot Nelly Korda who had a 65 of her own, -15 total. Remember Nelly was right in contention through 3 rounds last week in Thailand where her sister Jessica won setting a new tournament record. Jessica (68) and Michelle Wie (66) are at -10.

Henderson will play in the final group on Sunday with Korda and Danielle Kang (70) -14. So she will be spotting Korda 4 shots and Kang 3, I think she will need another round like today's to win. However she battled back with a pair of birdies on Friday to get in with a par 72, and today was obviously her best performance of the week.

A fast start will be important to apply some pressure. She has played the front nine (36) in 33 today, 38 on Friday, and 35 on Thursday.

After a pair of 75's Alena Sharp had her best outing of the week with -2 70.
