Can Sharma hold off the Sunday cavalry charge in Mexico

WGC Mexico Championship leaderboard https://www.pgatour.com/competition/2018/wgc-mexico-championship/en/leaderboard.html

You all know who Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia are, most of you will know Tyrrell Hatton and Rafa Cabrera Bello, stars on the European Tour. Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas, you've heard of them.

Well they are all within 2, 3 or 4 shots of this 21 year old kid from India, Shubhankar Sharma, playing as a professional on the PGA Tour for the first time, and looking great as he becomes the youngest player to ever lead a WGC event after 54 holes. His 69 leaves him at -13, two shots clear of Hatton, Mickelson, Garcia and Rafa.

As I've been telling you he has won twice this season, the JoBurg Open in Decemeber and last month's Maybank Championship to sit atop the Race to Dubai rankings.

The question is can he hold off the cavalry charge that is coming his way today down in Mexico City. It will be a heck of a story if he does.

Mickelson says he's playing his best golf in years and he'll be a huge favourite playing with Sharma today in the final pairing along with Tyrrell Hatton. Sharma just met him for the first time yesterday.

Adam Hadwin's week so far :  70 71 67 -5 T21 and he plays with Bubba Watson and Kyle Stanley today.

The field will play off split tees in threesomes and the weather will be sunny and hot.
