Alena Sharp moves up the leaderboard at ANA Inspiration

LPGA Tour ANA Inspiration leaderboard http://www.lpga.com/tournaments/ana-inspiration/leaderboard

First I will report that Alena Sharp had one of her best rounds of the year at this ANA Inspiration, moving 25 spots up the board to T11 with -4 68 -5 total (71 68)

She is seven strokes behind Sweden's Pernilla Lindberg (65 67) and South Korean Sung Hyun Park (68 64), who set a tournament record -12 total heading into the weekend. Both displayed a dazzling iron game, constantly hitting it within 10 feet to set up birdie putts. Park won the CP Women's Canadian Open last year. Jessica Korda is next at 67 68 -9. There are 4 players at -7.

Brooke Henderson went the wrong way with a + 3 75 and just made the cut on the number at +1.(70 75)

One of the pre tournament favourites Lexi Thompson putted poorly on her way to E 72  and is -4. The weather at Mission Hills is scorching hot 97*F yesterday which left Michelle Wie amongst others feeling dizzy.

I've been asked what ever happened to a few of the games hotties !! Where is Suzann Pettersen, Natalie Gulbis, and Anna Rawson.

Norway's Pettersen got married and is now pregnant so that is why you haven't seen her.

Gulbis who turned pro back in 2001 has been trying to become pregnant in recent years after she slipped below #400 in OWGR after several back injuries, and in 2017 was reported to be interested in running for congress in Nevada, She and her husband live in Lake Las Vegas and are staunch supporters of Donald Trump.

Anna Rawson the 5'11" Aussie beauty is doing an MBA program at Columbia University, an Ivy League school in New York. She had 4 rather uneventful years on the LPGA Tour after a glittering amateur career down under. She's been a model, professional golfer, entrepreneur and now a university student.

There you go !
