David Hearn, Mike Weir and Corey Connors are this week's Canadians down in the Dominican Republic at the Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship, for those who aren't in the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play Championship. Hearn, who has lost his full time status this year will be joining TSN for their coverage of the Masters.

Connors who led the Valspar Championship for the first 3 rounds, has opened with 4 birdies on his front nine and is just a shot off the lead.

The Corales Golf Course measures 7,600 yards this week, including 2 par 5's on the back nine at 620 yards give or take a few.

Round 1 is well underway in calm, sunny conditions.
