Once again Hall of Famer Lydia Ko was too good, winning this version of the HSBC Women's World Championship by 4 clear shots 71 67 68 69 -13.
Her closest pursuer in Charley Hull went backwards with a closing 74 to finish T4 -7.
Japan's Ayaka Furue and Thailand's Jeeno Thitikul were 2nd at -9
Brooke Henderson was steady but unspectacular T21 74 71 70 71 -2.

With the big boys on holiday until next week at the $20,000,000 Arnie Palmer Invitational the absolute rank and file that make up the numbers on the PGA Tour are all jammed up after 54 holes at this old Honda Classic in ultra rich Palm Springs to see who hits the exemption Jackpot this week.
Scoring was low again on moving day, in the ideal weather that make the rich find Palm Springs their winter homes. Sun drenched, little breeze to protect PGA National.
With perfect greens, players were holing putts one after another, Jake Knapp holed a couple more to take his one stroke lead 59 70 68 -16 into Sunday, however there are 12 players within 4 shots.
Blogger, Michael Kim 2nd -15, then Henley, Griffin, Ghim at -14, with Fowler . Montgomery at -13, and Pavon and Straka in a big group at -12

DP World Tour : Investec South African Open Leaderboard
The Investec South African Open Championship went straight to an afternoon play-off after the fourth round was cancelled on Sunday due to a flooded course at Durban Country Club.
Laurie Canter of England and South Africa’s Dylan Naidoo held a share of the 54-hole lead at -14 under and went to a head-to-head playoff on Sunday at 15.00 local time which Naidoo won with a birdie 3 on the 1st playoff hole.
Naidoo's victory also earns him a spot at The 153rd Open at Royal Portrush, with Marco Penge and Darren Fichardt also qualifying.
After a marathon day of action on Saturday which saw the completion of both the second round and then the entire third round, the scheduled final round began at 06:10 on Sunday.
However, only Chris Paisley, who was playing on his own, managed to complete his round before play was suspended at 09:10 amid persistent rain.
A decision was taken to suspend play for the entire day, and round four was later cancelled. A ‘hole-by-hole’ play-off over the 18th was determined to decide the winner..
edit**** Canada's Aaron Cockerill finished T37 at -5
Heavy rainfall from Tuesday night into Wednesday morning led to areas of the course being submerged and a three-hour delay to the scheduled first round tee times on Thursday.
The co-sanctioned DP World Tour and Sunshine Tour tournament is the penultimate event in the International Swing on the 2025 Race to Dubai, with the Joburg Open scheduled to start on Thursday.

DP World Tour : Investec South African Open .. Leaderboard
Laurie Canter fought back from a nightmare start to his third round to post a 68 and share the lead ahead of the final day of the 2025 Investec South African Open Championship.
Home favourite Dylan Naidoo sat alongside Canter on -14 at the top of the leaderboard after carding two birdies and one bogey in his 71, finishing his round in near-darkness after a marathon day of action at Durban Country Club.
In-form Englishman Canter, who won in Bahrain a month ago and tops the International Swing standings, had to play 27 holes on Saturday after a delayed start to the tournament meant the second round could not be completed on day two.
Four birdies and a bogey in the last nine holes of his second round saw Canter sit four shots off the lead at the halfway stage but he surrendered a double bogey at the very first hole in round three to fall off the pace.
He bounced back in style, though, going birdie-eagle at the second and third before carding five birdies and two bogeys over his remaining 15 holes for a share of the lead.
Naidoo had a good chance to take the outright lead in fading light at the 18th, as he chipped to five feet to send the crowd wild and set up a decent birdie opportunity. But the putt lipped out, and he will start his final round neck-and-neck with Canter.
England's Marco Penge sits one shot behind the co-leaders in third after his 68.
edit ** Canada's Aaron Cockerill began play off the 10th and went out bogey free with 2 birdies for 34. A bogey 5 at the 1st was recovered with birdies at the 3rd and 6th. However a double bogey 6 at the last took the shine off a fine round, 71 and he will begin Sunday T37 69 71 71 -5.

Two of this tour's most popular, marketable players top the leaderboard heading into Sunday out in Singapore at the HSBC Women's World Championship.
Hall of Famer Lydia Ko who has been doing this since she was a13 year old with pig tails and braces on her teeth is 1st 71 67 68 -10 and England's Charley Hull 2nd, in her prime, fit, good looking, loves a smoke, 69 70 68 -9. Her last win was 2022.
They are clear of the chasing pack at -7 and -6 who will doing their best to make Sunday more than a two filly race. 10 players are within 5 shots.
Brooke Henderson is well behind T27 -1 but has improved her score each day 74 71 70, 9 shots behind Lydia who she vied with as world #1 amateur in their teens.

First I must report that with the cut falling at -5, all four Canadians have missed the cut. Now a weekend off in South Florida is not usually a bad thing for Canucks, but here are the details.

Jake Knapp predictably came back down to earth after his opening 59 with a regular -1 70 to maintain his lead by a shot at -13. This is a well balanced, feet on the ground young guy folks, cool, dedicated, was acting as a bouncer not to long ago, level headed.
However here comes the pack lead by steady Frenchman Mattieu Pavon 66 64 -12 who hit the jackpot when he qualified from the DP World Tour 2 years ago and went on to win the signature event at Torrey Pines and turn his life of grinding in Europe right around. He just missed a short birdie on the 18th or he would be joint leader.
Kim 66, Berger 68, Ghim 63 and another DP World Tour qualifier Jesper Svensson 64 67 are all in at -11 and the board is jammed up behind them.

Home favourite Shaun Norris made 12 birdies and no bogeys in 27 holes on Friday to lead by one shot when the second round of the Investec South African Open Championship was suspended due to darkness at 18.21 local time.
After heavy rain and the mammoth effort to get the course playable caused a three-hour delay to the start of the tournament on Thursday, Norris was among the large number of players who had to return to the course early on day two to finish off their opening rounds.
He began the day on two under after nine holes before adding four birdies on the back nine to sign for a flawless first-round 66.
And Norris, who is looking to win another big title on home soil after getting his second DP World Tour victory at the Alfred Dunhill Championship in December, made eight more birdies in a spotless second round to set the clubhouse target at -14 and stay bogey-free for the tournament.
He said: "It was a nice build-up from this morning. I finished off nicely from the morning round and carried on this afternoon.
"I'm hitting the ball nicely so I'm putting myself in good positions, just looking at birdies all the time. And the short game has been strong.
"So I'm looking forward to the next couple of days.
"Any National Open is the most important to anybody so to stamp my name on that trophy would be an absolute blessing."
Countryman Dylan Naidoo was Norris' nearest challenger on -13 after his second-round 61 but plenty of afternoon starters still have an opportunity to close the gap when round two resumes at 07.30 on Saturday, including Sam Bairstow who sits on 11 under with ten holes to go.
Friday will live long in the memory of Dale Whitnell after he sensationally made two holes-in-one in his second round. The Englishman aced the par-three second and 12th in a remarkable -9 63 which included a further eagle, seven birdies, two bogeys and a double bogey.
edit**** Meanwhile at the other end of the leaderboard Canada's Aaron Cockerill with a battling 5 birdies and 4 bogey's for -1 71 just made the cut at -4 by a shot with the weekend ahead to improve.
Weather While it is not a howling gale the wind has been described as tricky by the players, breezy by the forecast, and there are showers in and around the area.
