Masters. Full Friday Scoreboard .. Play suspended after a perfect morning...full scoreboard here.
I mentioned early this morning that conditions were prefect for scoring with TStorms coming later..They came at 3.30pm suspending play which toppled trees and will try to resume at 8am Saturday.... there is a forecast 100% rain
That was the deciding factor... Koepka out early, won the draw deal by being late early, posted 65 67 -12 to lead by four...but his challengers Rahm. Hovland and Young are all in wait mode as the T' Storms pass through and the cut is projected +2
The Canadian Story
Mac Hughes T38 E thru 13..Mac's day turned around with 2 birdies in 5 holes from the 6th to the 10th. When play was suspended after a par 5 at the 13th he is T38 E with 4 to play Saturday morning.
Mike Weir T56 +4 72 76.. Weirsy will miss the cut again on his 20th anniversary
Adam Svensson T80th +8 thru 14..Adam will live and learn from his first Mastrers on his way home after M/C
Corey Connors : T80 +8 73 79 Corey lost his A game on the flight from San Antonio to Augusta. He simply lost his precise control off the tee on Friday, the final straw came when missed his approach from a hanging lie 200yds to the 13th into Rae's creek, then chunked another back into the water, taking a double bogey 7, the doubled 16, bogey's at 17 and 18 for an early exit. I really think the win at Valero and all the excitement heading into Augusta finally caught up with him.
Victor Hovland and Jon Rahm will need to complete rd 2 to see how the leaderboard stands and who makes the 50 plus ties cut..
Play will resume weather permitting at 8am Saturday, which has 100% chance of rain.
