PGA Tour Champions : Mitsubishi Electric Championship... final results here.
When you shoot 68 60 65 -23 in a 54 hole tournament you're not going to lose very often and such was the case this week for Steve Stricker who destroyed par 72 at the newly renovated Hualalai GC. Jack Nicklaus designed this resort course and in 2020 all the grass was dug up and replaced with paspalum.
They might have been better replacing it with lava rocks !
Mike Weir was no slouch either 66 67 66 -17 in a four way T2 with Darren Clarke, Steve Alker and Ken Tanikawa.
Stephen Ames 70 65 74 -7 T26
Only 5 players shot over par, one of them former world #1 David Duval was last at +10.
