PGA Tour: Farmers Insurance Open full scoreboard here
First of all Sam Ryder a 33 year old journeyman from Florida with no wins yet on the PGA Tour, ranked #283 in the world has had 2 great rounds 64 68 -12 and leads the pack after 36 holes by 3 shots.
Adam Hadwin playing the North Course had 3 bogey's the rest pars, but crucially a birdie 3 on the 18th for +2 74, but coupled with is -2 70 on Wednesday it was good enough to make the cut on the number at E.
Taylor Pendrith had a similar story, after opening with -3 69 he was struggling along at +2 playing the back nine first on the South Course, and with 3 more bogey's coming in he was flirting with an early weekend. However he made a birdie 4 at the par 5 6th and came down the 605 yard par 5 9th needing a birdie to make the cut.
He drove it into the fairway bunker, left his 3rd 120yds to the pin. I'd say his shot of the day was the resulting wedge to 8 feet and the putt he made for the birdie 4.
Once again 69,75 was just enough to make the cut on the number E.
Adam Svensson 74 72 +2 is out as is a struggling Michael Gligic 77 74 +7 which is 19 shots off the lead after just 36 holes.
Hadwin and Pendrith are paired together later today off #10 at 1030 local or 1.13pm EST. The last 36 holes are all on the South Course.
