The seniors and their family and friends are back in Hawaii to begin their 2023 season at Hualalai for the Mitsubishi Electric, and it was a bright start for the soon to me remarried Mike Weir who recently got engaged to former Bachelor in Paradise contestant Michelle Money who he has been dating for 7 years. She's 42 with a daughter, Weirsy now 52.
Weir made an opening bogey, but then got it rolling with 7 birdies -6 66, T3 just a shot off the lead -7 65 Darren Clarke and Kevin Sutherland.
Stephen Ames who has homes in Vancouver and the Turks and Caicos and was considering another purchase in Hawaii shot -2 70 T26.
