PGA Tour : Farmers Insurance Open leaderboard here
Yet another sunny day at Torrey Pines, the north and south courses an immaculate green beside the vast blue waters of the Pacific Ocean lapping the shores of San Diego.
John Rahm is the headliner with 4 wins in his last 6 outings opened +1 73 (SC), and world #1 Rory McIlroy beginning his year as usual at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour.
The four Canadians had mixed results on Wednesday. Play is underway as I write in round 2 where the cut is projected at -1.
With the leaders in with -8 64's, Taylor Pendrith had a -3 69 a nice start to build on. (NC)
Adam Hadwin was all pars 36 holes 1-9 then made 3 birdies and 1 bogey 10-18 34 for -2 70 (SC)
Adam Svensson had 2 bogey's 1-9 +2 38 then a birdie and a bogey 10-18 E36 +2 74 (NC)
Michael Gligic (NC) spent time over the Christmas holidays with his coach Sean Foley has got off to a slow start this season with 2 missed cuts.
He has opened with +5 77 so will need a great round today or it will be 3 in a row.
