Hearn in position for a great payday at the Bermuda Championship

PGA Tour Bermuda Championship leaderboard https://www.pgatour.com/competition/2020/bermuda-championship/leaderboard.html

Back on a Monday in September David Hearn shot a 66 to T4 at the Korn Ferry Championship and that was good enough to get in the top 25 and gain his PGA Tour card for this 2019-20 year, and with that out of the way he, like many others this week is aware of how important opportunities like this alternative event, the Bermuda Championship is.

With the leader Harry Higgs at -17 it is unlikely David will win after rounds of 67,68,68 -10 on this par 71 Port Royal GC, so all he can do is take advantage of his chances today to make as much money as he can before the Christmas break during this PGA Tour wrap around season.

The more money he's made, the more Fed Ex points he can acquire will continue to improve his status when the first re-shuffle is made. He's been playing on this tour on and off since 2005, now 40 he has the advantage of knowing all the courses, where to stay, how to get there that rookies like Michael Gligic who has shot 71 66 72 and is currently T53.

update:  he is -2 through 2 holes in today's 4th round, -12 total.

Roger Sloan 69 70 71 -3 is -1 through 3 holes today T45 -4 total.
