Luke Donald has just birdied the first playoff hole while Lee Westwood made 7 after his wedged 3rd spun off the green into the water, a dramatic ending to a dramatic day at this famous west course at Wentworth..
Lee actually played a better round, stedy while Luke was wild off the tee, but relied on his best in golf short game to save him time after time.
All week I have been writing here about the changes to 17 and 18 that have taken what used to be an eagle eagle finish off the books. Further to that, 18 has now become a 2 shot set up for a par 3 finish, bad design in my opinion
