Garcia and Palmer lead the Byron Nelson

Ryan Palmer and Sergio Garcia shared the second-round lead at 8-under 132 after a sun-soaked round Friday when the wind was gusting up to 36 mph

Garcia who won here in 2004 shot -4,66 and Palmer shot a 67. Palmer never plays well at the Nelson with only one cut made in his seven previous appearances so he decided to let his caddie James Edmondson call the shots, and Palmer just executes and so far so good.

It is great to watch all the young guys like Matteo Manassero who is leading at Wentworth and at this tourney it's 17 year old local amateur Jordan Speith who T4 last year and has made the cut again at -3.He shot 68 on Friday but has a little problem..

His high school graduation ceremony is Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m, 20 miles away from the course."Right after the round I'm going to shoot over there as quickly as possible," Spieth said. "I don't know how long (graduation) usually lasts."

Unfortunately all 5 Canucks MC..

CUT 142 Stephen Ames 71 82 153
CUT 123 David Hearn 73 74 147
CUT 247 Mike Weir 74 70 144
CUT 248 Chris Baryla 71 77 148
CUT 228 Matt McQuillan 73 73 146
